Worship Services

Our three Sunday Worship Services encourage believers to come together to:

• Praise and Worship God (through song, serving and prayer)
• Equip believers for the ministry (through the Word of God)
• Encourage a sense of belonging (through sharing life together)
• Encouraging believers to grow in the likeness of Christ
• Encouraging Healthy Relationships with God and others     

Sunday 9:30 am

Contemporary worship service, culturally relevant to today, while not neglecting our heritage, to inspire, uplift and challenge believers, through Biblical teaching, enthusiastic praise and connecting with other believers. Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of the month. Kidz Church and creche for children are provided.

Sunday 6:00 pm

Informal contemporary worship service, culturally relevant to today, while not neglecting our heritage, involving Biblical teaching, enthusiastic praise and connecting with other believers. Communion is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of the month.

The Worship team consists of worship leaders, back up singers, musicians, sound and audio visual people, who serve together in our Sunday worship services. Each team member plays an important role in helping the congregation to become more Christ-focused in our worship.

Team members are committed worshippers of God, they are familiar with the style of praise and worship at WVAC and are committed to being effective team players. While it is acknowledged that individuals come with a certain level of expertise in singing or playing a musical instrument, we invite those with a gifting and passion for worship to get involved.

Rehearsals are conducted on a Wednesday evening prior to the Sunday services.
